First things first
Before you worry about the car.
If anyone is hurt, call 911 first. The car can wait — it is the one part of this that is replaceable.
Get out of traffic
If the car still moves and it is safe to do so, get it onto the shoulder or off the freeway. Hazards on. On an LA freeway, standing beside a car in a live lane is the real danger.
Stay behind a barrier
Wait behind a guardrail or well off the roadway, not in the car and not between vehicles, until help arrives.
Photograph everything
Damage, position, plates, the other vehicle, the street. Do it before anything moves. It costs you nothing and it settles arguments later.
Then call us
Tell us where you are and what happened. We quote the tow before a truck leaves, so you know the number up front.
Your car, your call
It goes where you want it to go.
After a collision you will get a lot of advice, some of it from people with something to gain. Here is how we work.
- You choose the destination. Your body shop, your dealer, or your own driveway. If you have not decided yet, tell us when you call and we will work it out with you before a truck is dispatched.
- No impound yard. We are a service-area business and do not operate a public yard. Anything to do with storage or release of your vehicle is agreed with you directly at the time of service.
- We can make an introduction, only if you ask. If you want the name of a collision shop, we will give you one. We will only pass your details to anyone if you tell us to, and declining changes nothing about your tow. Attorney introductions are handled separately and only on your say-so.
- Priced before we roll. You get the number before a driver is dispatched, not after your car is on the bed.
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
On scene
The right way to pick up a damaged car.
A car that has been hit does not load like a car that will not start. Wheels can be locked, suspension bent, panels hanging.
- Flatbed first. For collision damage the bed is almost always the right answer — nothing dragging, nothing taking load it should not.
- Wheel-lift and dollies when a wheel will not turn or the car has to come out of a tight garage or structure.
- Soft straps over the tyres rather than hooks through bodywork.
- We sweep up. Glass and debris get cleared from the lane before we leave.
Real work
Cars we have moved.
Daily drivers, EVs, classics and cars worth more than the truck — all photographed on our own bed.

Common questions
After an accident.
Will my insurance pay for the tow?
Often yes, depending on your policy and who was at fault. We give you a written total and the paperwork you need to submit it. We cannot tell you what your insurer will reimburse — ask them directly.
Can you tow a car that will not roll or steer?
Usually. Locked wheels and bent suspension are routine — that is what the dollies and the wheel-lift are for. Tell us what the car is doing when you call so the right equipment turns up.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on where you are and what is already running. We will give you a realistic ETA on the phone rather than a number designed to win the call.
Do I have to use the shop you suggest?
No. The destination is yours to pick, every time. If you want a recommendation we will give you one, and if you do not, that is the end of it.
My car is in a parking structure.
Tell us the clearance when you call. Low structures are a wheel-lift job rather than a flatbed job, and knowing in advance saves a wasted trip.
